I have decided that I am going to aim to run a quarter marathon this year. I’m thinking the Auckland marathon is probably a good one. A quarter marathon is 10.7km and that seems doable. It would take about an hour or so and not kill me. Of course I’m only running 2 mins at a time at the moment so this is all theoretical. Maybe it will kill me? But what a good way to die.

Very brave! But I think it does wonders for your running when you have an event to train for. Yesterday I clocked up 4km for the first time, did it in 33 minutes. Back when I was ‘running’ 30 seconds in one interval, I wouldn’t have ever believed I could run for that distance.
I’m totally behind you! And truthfully? Considering joining you! Keep us posted
I’m so impressed Marsh! One thing I’ve learned is that you can pretty much do anything as long as you believe you can.
I’ve gotten sick of saying I can’t do things because of my weight so yeah! See you at the marathon!
Exactly! If you put your minds to it, you can do anything you like…
Doesn’t seem so crazy now does it?
Amazing….
