Naked men in the gym


A funny thing happened today. I was in the gym locker room after my workout and was heading for the shower wearing nothing but a towel (stop picturing me in my towel!) and I bumped into one of my colleagues – as you do.

Quoth he:

“I feel I must say this. You are looking so good lately. You must be feeling great too.”

It’s the first time I’ve been complimented by a semi naked man. ;)

I must have hit a tipping point with my weightloss as people are starting to notice and tell me.

    Oooooo!!! That’s awesome! I know that the women in the changing room at my gym have given me comments (the most recent one telling me that I look like I’ve lost 15kg, when I haven’t lost anything recently – in fact, have gained 4kg); I bet that made you feel pretty damn pleased with yourself :)

    Yes, kinda strange, I know. I had a very similar experience with a total stranger — “You look like you’ve lost a lot of weight, how did you do it?” This very trim black man said to me as I walked by in less than a towel.

    I answered him, got dressed, then left feeling very good that some stranger would notice. (But conceding in my mind that yes, it was a bit gay. . . Not that there’s anything wrong with that!)
