One way to combat the wild swings is to use a 15 day average. There is something out there called the Google 15. I use a spreadsheet. (I'm happy to share if you're interested -- just email me.)

This softens the peaks and valleys. So many factors can impact you from day to day.

Oh yes... gotta love checking the scales every morning... not once, but twice, eh? Or maybe even 3 times? :P
Just to make sure...

I guess if you measure yourself enough, you will find that the weight basically fluctuate a lot during the day.

I found that I'm actually lighter by around 8-9am if I haven't eaten anything, compare to 6am ish, which is when I normally weigh myself, if I am not distracted by something else... and then started eating... :P

Anyways, well done :)

Thanks Lisa. Much appreciated. Sometimes what you feel on the inside is so darn influenced by that number on the scale though! ;)

Yupp, sometimes the scale isn't the best measuring tool. To me, it's what you feel on the inside that's more important...................:)

Congratulations on the 76lbs. That's quite an accomplishment. Keep up the good work.
