Great 5K time!

You are going to love the Garmin -- I have the 205 (no heart rate monitor) and I love the ability to track, record and map my running. As well as having real time feedback regarding pace and distance. I don't know how I ever ran without it!

I used to run 5km in 30 minutes for a long time as well. By mixing up my regular 5km runs with some high intensity interval training and regular interval training I managed to get my time to a personal best of 23 minutes for 5.2km! As a former couch potato it really is an amazing feeling! Ofcourse the faster you get, the harder it is to improve your time.

It's been in a year since I set that record though. Now my time's 30 minutes for 5km again... You really have to keep practicing to maintain your speed. But oh well.

Keep on running my friend! GL with the race.

I love my 305, but admit that it's addictive -- gotta pay more attention to the road than your wrist. Use it well.

Man, you are flying on your runs. Good for you!

Have a great holiday.

Glad the fitness test results were so good! I love getting new running shoes - I'm going shopping for some tomorrow. I'm also thinking about doing my first 5km race on Easter Monday, so it'll be a PB for sure!
