I use my Garmin 305 to get the graphs shown above. You can only get the graphs afterwards but you can monitor your heartrate, speed, distance etc. during the run with it. I use Sporttracks to generate the map and graphs.

When I run indoors I use a Polar F6. You can download your heartrate data off that but I normally only do it when I'm running outside.

If you want GPS data as well as heart data go with the Garmin. If you are only interested in heart rate data then any of the Polar watches are great.

Hey Andrew, I've got a few questions for you if you don't mind!

I've been looking at some heart rate monitors to track my running progress, but I can't seem to find anything that isn't too complicated and has chart functions as well. What type of tracking device do you use? And is it difficult to get a chart up like that? Did you need to buy additional software for this and is it like possible to get a graph of your heart rate during during the run??

It would be lovely if you could help me out a bit here =)

Thanks!!
