I cannot imagine how beautiful it must be to run in Auckland despite the weather condition. Those winds can be a real workout !!!

oh man ... sounds like you had a real bad experience. i mean i myself know that the treadmill can be quite daunting, and we runners will avoid it at all costs , but i guess now you know that " tis better to be bored then to be caught in a quagmire like that haha

I think it's funny when the wind hits you and you feel as if you stop moving, but you are still running

I love your optimism. "It can't be that bad!?!" ;-) You sound a lot like me -- Crazy enough to think you can run in any kind of weather! ;-) I've run in torrential downpours, heavy snow, subzero temperature, 98 degree heat, etc. What's the word for these runs?! Ah yes, they're "character-building"!!!!

From the sound of those winds, it's a good thing you weren't blown right off the bridge!

Glad to hear you made it back safe & sound!

Great job sticking it out in those conditions for 11.69 km! And with a delayed bathroom break too. Ouch! Were you running with your legs crossed for the last half of it?! ;-)

The weather has been putting me off getting outside. I'm inspired now - that and i'm getting increasingly nervous about Run Auckland 6...
