Born on the 4th of July

My little monkey is one year old today!

In other news, running and pushups are on hold for a few days after my surgery today (which went well).  I’m expecting a weight gain as I’ve been indulging in comfort food (but not too much I hope).  Having said that I had a record low on the scale this morning so we’ll have to see what Monday’s weighin brings.

Happy 4th of July to all my American fans!

  1. Let’s see…
    Scrabble eggs (2) on toasts
    Mocha + Muffin
    2 cookies from subway
Home made Mocha (coffee + some melted dark choc chips)
    Normal lunch
    1 pack of Chips
Choc drink + some peanuts (no salt)
Home made veg pita (wholemeal pita bread with bubble & squeak + an egg + pineapple)
    home made oven baked chips
    and some chocolates

    Yep not bad.
You used to eat A LOT more than this on your “day offs” when you were on other diets.
There would have been cakes, ice cream, more chips, cookies, chocolates – anything that you are not allowed, you will have.

    Well done :)

  5. Glad your surgery went well, Andrew. And like others have said, don’t worry about a little weight gain. Just heal and get yourself where you need to be before you start hitting the training again.

Great pictures, by the way. Is that a Running Warehouse shopping bag I see your lil monkey in? I love those things!
