Weigh-in Monday

The weightloss has progressed quite nicely this week.  I suspect it may have quite a lot to do with the large amount of running I’ve been doing.  I have done just over 100 km over the last two weeks!  I’m now 106 pounds down.  That number is still slowly ticking over so I’m pleased with that.

I had a bit of a break with the pushups after failing miserably with week 05 and will restart this week.

I’m also about to start week 03 of the abs program that I got from Steve.  Speaking of which he’s having a competition.  Go and check it out.

Week 03 involves the following:

Hip Up
Reverse Crunch
Crossover
Oblique Crunch
Crunch: legs up
Crunch: feet first
Superman

Workout #1 (Monday) – 12 reps of each exercise
Workout #2 (Wednesday) – 13 reps of each exercise
Workout #3 (Friday) – 14 reps of each exercise

Last week was a good week and hopefully this one is as good.

P.S. If you missed it you can see my Volcano Challenge Race Report here.

Yes, week 5 is tough. I stopped, and now can’t get motivated to start again!

You know, I failed miserably after week #3, so I did the initial test over, and started back at week 1 using the higher number, so we’ll see how that goes!

Also in agreement with Madame Fitzy, you are tres impressive, even when you have setbacks you manage to make them work for you – like not doing the pushup challenge within the time frame? You just keep plugging at it til you get there. I could learn a lesson from your dedication!

Now you’re making me feel guilty! I’ve been slacking off with the pushups!
