Seems like a common theme, Andrew. It's true, you'll be off to marathon land before long.

Now, I find myself most interested in running shorter races that I've run before to see how much improvement I see OR races that look like fun courses or in new places. The "run of the mill" 5 and 10k's are no longer for me. (Or for me once I'm off and running again.)

Kind of a cool feeling, though, isn't it?

I have to admit that each winter I end up getting out of my routine for a few months and am always surprised in the spring how quickly your body readapts to running again. You can literally see the difference from one run to another. The human body is an amazing thing!

What is your half training like? I did the novice training program from halhigdon.com. Today's run is 4.5 miles.

My half marathon is Oct 12. When is yours?

Great job with the 10k Andrew. I think it is funny how 10k can start to seem so routine.

I remember when I was still uninjured how 10k got to be just that, just another run. I didn't think twice about taking off without any preparation out of the norm. Even funnier was saying I'll be right back when headed out for a 5k.

Great job, and keep up the good work, that half, and full marathon will be here before you know it!
