This week was not too flash on the eating front. For some reason moderation was not in my vocabulary and I tended to eat a bit too much. Not hugely excessive but more than I am comfortable with. Having said that, I did a lot of running (47 km) and that has stopped me from gaining too much. 300 grams is nothing in the big picture I just need to make sure it’s not 300 grams positive every week.

I think you just experienced a week of normal life, my friend. In the big picture, as long as you keep up the running, you’re just fine. Thanks for the update!

Been noticing your weight loss and gain have been fairly even recently - could you possible have reached your ideal healthy body weight? Those last pounds are always a killer in any weight loss plan regardless! Nice work with the running though - I can’t even comprehend running that far in a month let alone a week!!

Hmm…I considered that but I think it’s been more the joy of eating rather than the joy of goal.
I’m not too worried about my weight to tell you the truth. I’m below what I ever thought I would get and as long as I’m not gaining more than 2 weeks in a row then it’s all good. I would like to hit the 120 pounds lost so will probably keep trying.

Your doing great and a few weeks at about even are fine. You’ve come a long way, and when you increase your weekly mileage, you’ll start dropping even more weight. I’m in the same boat too as I have been slowly increasing again do to a busy work schedule, some poor eating choices, and lower weekly mileage. (35kms this week) I also thought I would never hit the scales like I am right now.
Keep up the great work because you’re doing great!

Im nervous to say this
but *I* think sometimes that more food….even not the best food…is GOOD to shake the body up.
to keep it guessing.
IMO it can *jack up* the metabolism when done infrequently.

I have to agree with MizFit, sometimes I think it’s a good thing to “change it up” and sometimes eat a little more than normal, I think it helps the body on certain occasions.

LOL I know what you mean. Teensy gains are fine, but we don’t want to teensy ourselves back to the beginning.

I think sometimes you need to suprise your body into losing weight and get past a plateau. Over time it’ll get used to you telling it to run. Maybe try mixing things up a litte (post Auckland half of course!)
