1000 Kilometers

Weather conditions were really nasty for running yesterday so my wife and I decided to go to the gym for a run on the treadmill.

When I got home and added the run to my stats I couldn’t help but notice that I’ve cracked the 1000 km mark for total distance run so far.  :)

Wow 1000km is definitely a good milestone for the year (so far). Well done. You are right about the nasty weather conditions.

Are you tapering for the week leading up to the big race?

I am indeed. Just shorter runs this week. I’m going to do a very easy 10K tomorrow morning to celebrate Labour day and then just 2 easy 5Ks later in the week.

I think I’ll start tracking mine — it adds up! Good job :-)

I haven’t been brave enough to try running on a treadmill. Afraid I’ll end up flat on my face!

Hi, I see your name over at Jeff’s blog all the time, but I didn’t know you had a blog. It’s not linked to your name. I always thought you were a friend of Jeff’s in Baltimore.

Now, I’ve found your blog. Congrats on the 1000k. I’ll check back in from time to time. Good luck on the upcoming half.
