A run before breakfast

I meant to get a run in yesterday evening but we went hiking in the afternoon and by the time we got back into Taipei it was a bit dark so I decided to slack off instead.  We went up some mountain (no idea where but it’s about an hour or so NW of Taipei) and walked until we got to this waterfall:

It was very pretty and a good little hike too.

And, as such, I had to get out of bed early this morning to go for my run.  Pity me folks.  These are the conditions I had to run in:

I did 7 laps of the lake which equals about 10.4 km in just over an hour.  What a great way to start the day!  We’re planning on hiring a tandem bike today and going for a cycle.  I hope the wife pedals as well!

I am jealous that you get to run in such beautiful places, it is so cold here in New Mexico it is hard to get out much. Thank you for these gorgeous scenery shots.
