Been a bit quiet…
Sorry for the quiet blog folks! I’ve been rather busy with holidaying!
I’m off home tomorrow and I must admit to a bit of trepidation at the thought of stepping on my scale when I get back. I’m sure I’ve gained about 5 kgs in the past 4 weeks. But it’s been worth it! My family and I have had a great time.
I’ve been getting in heaps of runs as well. Most mornings I go for a run around the local lake. I did 40 odd km last week and I’m already over 30 km for this week. I’m planning on a 10K tomorrow morning and then I’ll be travelling till Saturday night (NZ time) and depending on the jet lag I’ll try to get a longer run in on Sunday sometime. That might have to wait till Monday however.
I’ve had a great holiday but now I’m looking forward to getting back home. I planted some tomatoes just before we left (cunning move as my inlaws have had to water them while I’m away!) and I’m looking forward to seeing how they’ve grown.
