Wow, look at how far you've come (literally & figuratively speaking!) in a single year. Not just in the number of miles you've covered, but what you've accomplished on the whole!

It's interesting how the C25K program has been the starting point for so many of us (you, Eric G., Abi M, myself, & so many more people!) & look where it's taken all of us. It starts out as a desire to lose weight & get into shape, & then becomes so much more in the process.

Bravo, Andrew! Now go & celebrate your fantastic successes!

So do you know how many kilometers/miles you've logged for the year? It seems you keep track of most of them and map them.

Have you ever tried Interval Training in your running? In other words, running for short distances at maximum ability, resting and the restarting for say 15- 20 minutes with about 1 -2 minutes between intervals. Try it. You might like it.

Fantastic... fantastic. The more posts I read of yours, the closer I feel our journey has been. I hit 2 years of running at the end of this month. But, I too started with the C25K and we seem to have similar weight loss goals.

I, for one, spent all of 2008 maintaining... so we are a little different there. But, seems like we're headed in the same direction now. Great stuff man... Great stuff!!

Happy Runiversary!!

First off, I hope you get to feeling better soon.

Stick with it you did, and now you've gone way past your goal of a 5K with most of your runs!

So I ask you, which do you prefer: the quick 5K, the 10K or the endurance of a half-marathon? Just a thought to ponder as you reflect on a year of great training and racing.

Happy Running.

Congrats on a great year of running! I've also completed my first year, and it sort of passed by unnoticed on my end. Like you I have the common cold, perhaps even the same strain from a half-a-world away? Hope you feel better soon!
