Weigh-in #8 2009

The graph is a bit red this week!

It’s been a bit of an odd week.  I’ve struggled to get my eating under control after the carbo loading for my race last Sunday.  I’ve also picked up a bug somewhere.  I’m reasonably ok during the day but at night I’ve been getting fever and liquidy lungs.  Rather annoying to say the least!  I also think I did too much running too soon after my half marathon as my body hurts!  I’m getting old and soft.

Yikes, being sick is a bummer.

The red graph is just a blip. You’ll be back in the green in no time.

I wondered if the post-event running was a bit premature, but not being a runner, I kept my fingers still. :)

    Hope you feel better soon!

I feel your pain. I’m getting old, too. Better than the alternative though… :-)

Man, it seems like the whole blogging-running community has been hit by some bug, the whole world over! These pesky viruses travel fast and far. Hope you feel better soon.

You’re still going real well there. the same thing happened to me and I didn’t even run a race. I did a Sprint bike/run and after that loaded up on the carbs and the rest is history. Gained this week and not to happy about that, but what can i do. I’ll still push forward though. Hope you have a good one ahead.

Yeah.. after a race, it’s really hard to get under control. Then, add a cold to it and bleh… You’ll be right back at it next week.
