Back on track

I’ve been sick so haven’t really been doing much but I’m better now so I’m back on track. It’s amazing how your mindset can change overnight from bleh I don’t care to let’s get going again!

I went for a great little 5K run last night and it felt really good to be outside running.

  5. So true…I was having one of those weeks too, dodging some nasty sickness and battling some nasty weather (it snowed again) and still found it in myself to get off my butt and go for a jog.

  7. It is always awful to be sick and not to be able to do what you love. But like you have shown, you just have to get up and going again once you feel better!

  8. Good to hear that your getting over being sick. Keep on plugging away at the mileage after your half. I seem to have slow down periods after my races that feel like it takes me forever and a day to get back into the training cycle again.
