Weigh-in Monday #4 2010: The streak continues

I’m still going strong which is great. 1.31 kg (2.9 pounds) down this week which is quite nice if I say so myself.  I like a chart with a lot of green in it:

Trending downwards quite nicely.

My eating has been pretty good and disciplined.  I’ve even managed the weekends quite well lately.  If I have an event or two coming up then I compensate by eating slightly smaller portions etc. at my other meals so that I can still indulge somewhat but not overdo it overall.  That approach definitely seems to be paying dividends.  I still credit most of my losses to my running as I’m eating very well overall.

Speaking of which, I ran into work this morning and it was one of those perfect still mornings with clear blue skies.  Very nice.  Unfortunately I forgot my camera at home so you’ll have to take my word for it. :)

  15. Hey Andrew… I like your idea of eating a little less for a meal or two if you’ve had one meal that you had more than normal. It kinda balances the weight scales of justice, so to speak.

  17. Looking good, Andrew! Your most recent re-commitment to weight loss got me back on the scale, and I was shocked to learn that I had gained almost 15lbs since the Fall.

    Ouch.

    As a result, I have also recommitted myself in the past two weeks and have lost 3lbs so far. For me it’s just getting rid of the crap calories, though they’re soooo sweeeeeeet.

    Hold fast.

  24. I am jealous of your accomplishments. Having starting out I am at the begginning. So being that the aussie dollar is about half of the US dollar, does that mean I get twice as many calories? Wouldn’t it be fun if it worked that way? No matter what country you live in, fat is fat. I wonder though in other countries, what the social stigma’s are are over weight people? In the USA its no big deal. I was in Manila in October, and everone would just stare….Whats it like there?
