Although it takes a change of habit to start eating healthy stuff, I find that beans are good way to get a protein injection and sort of satisfy my natural craving for meat. Sometimes, I just eat a bowl of steamed green beans....and happy with it.

I love chick peas but can never figure out what to do with them. Never thought of having them with salads though. I used to mix them with canned niblet corn. Delicious! 

Maybe I should make that with dinner tomorrow. Haven&#039;t had it in years! :)

I guess I will have to check into registering with comment luv too as it shows past posts for me also!

It looks a little on the light side, but that&#039;s coming from a big eater like myself. Interesting to see 2 eggs/day for mid morning. Is it okay to eat this number of eggs regularly?

I started with my own program about the same time as you and am 2kg&#039;s lighter. I&#039;d say my diet looks very similar, but a bit less - I don&#039;t have such a big energy output as you.</description>

I really like eggs as well, but it seems like when I eat hard boiled eggs, I end up with a monstrous craving for carbs.  It doesn&#039;t hit me if I have a veggie omlet, but I always end up binging on some kind of carb if I have those.

Go figure.
