One Hundred Push-ups in a Row

It’s been a long time coming but I’m pleased to announce that I have completed the hundred push-up challenge.  I’ve started this challenge at least 7 times and it just goes to show that if you stick with it you can actually do it.  The last ten push-ups were not pretty but I don’t care.  I’m done!  I think I’ll stick to doing 50 push-ups every few days as a maintenance program but I never want to go through all those levels again!

  17. Wow. How many weeks did it take this last time around? I know it’s supposed to be six, but that doesn’t account for the inevitable repeated weeks.

About 7 and a bit I guess. I didn’t repeat weeks. Just days!

  18. I should also note that I’ve started, and re-started the challenge several times. I just have been able to stick with it long enough to make it through. This isn’t to say that I’m not doing pushups, because I am. And I’m making decent progress. But I haven’t been following the proper regimen, which I’ll likely have to do if I want to join you in the 100 club. Anyway, great work!

  19. Awesome! Way to go. I intended to continue doing push ups after I reached the 100 milestone, but a year later I must admit that I have not been anywhere near successful. I hope that you find doing 50 every other day or so easy, and interesting, enough to keep it up since I suspect the benefits will be great.

  40. That is Great. I’ve been debating about starting the 100 push-up challenge for a while.

There’s a big difference between talking about it and doing it. For now, I’m content at running, swimming, and biking mixed with my daily 10 minute weight workout.
