That is great! I’m almost at maintenance, I think I’ll start caloric maintenance and only use running as my caloric deficit for the future. I’m so close to my goal, you maintaining just makes me want to reach it even more!

Did you start planning for your maintain earlier with eating and things or did it just happen?

As I’ve starting hitting goal weight it just sort of happened. I think I’ve also been making a point of eating more as I’m marathon training.

Great job, Andrew! I’ve always heard that maintaining is just as difficult as losing weight, if not even more difficult. So kudos!

That sort of “glide path” is probably a sign that you picked a good goal weight…

This was my first non-losing week, though I think there are some waste elimination issues and some off-plan eating that took place prior to the weigh-in. I’ve seen dehydration also make the scale look tons better than it should have been. Bottom line, for someone like you at this stage, the scale should only be an early warning indicator if it starts to mercilessly creep upward…otherwise you are doing stellar!

That’s half of a pound. Give yourself some credit. That’s much better than maintenance. Keep up the great work!
