Looks like you have managed to get some good runs in there Andrew.

Glad to see you are starting back on the pushups, situps and squats - I keep starting them but never get past a couple of days, I should really focus on them and use them daily to aid my routine.

Great running Andrew! Wow, that is good that you can run with the fractured toe.... but what does the doc say about that? :)

I agree the running with others helps you to push yourself more than you would normally, it is good to see you have someone with a similar pace to run with.

As for the new shoes - no coincidence..... just faster! :) Maybe you should go another pair.... I am buying a new pair every week to see how fast I can get :)

pushups.... I need to too..... soon!

Hope you toe heals quickly!

Nice running Andrew! And it took me forever to get back to doing push ups after conquering the 100 as well. Weird. You'd figure that upon achieving something like that it would be easy to just do a few sets every week just to "maintain", but it certainly wasn't my experience.

That's some great running lately Andrew! I really need to restart the 100 pushups again too. I've only done a couple sets here and there since finishing it the first time around.

Peter, a good estimate for marathon is to multiply your 10K time by 4.6. This is actually a bit too optimistic and most people have to use a multiplier closer to 5 to get an accurate prediction for their marathon. For a more detailed predictor that uses various formulas, check out this site: http://is.gd/deA2U

I think it will be interesting to see how much we can up the pace on our training runs. If I'm ever to do a marathon in under four hours, then I think I need to be doing 10 Km in under 50 minutes (well, 49:54 if I believe Runners World).

Are you doing the pushups squats and situps altogether? How does this work, are you planning to gradually build up? Sorry if this is a daft question I am just interested in doing something similar, I would really like to build up my push ups and sit ups inbetween kickboxing classes.
